REALOGIS Immobilien Deutschland successfully advised Tekpoint GmbH on the lease of around 23,175 m² of rental space at the FOCUS logistics park in Nohra near Weimar. The international distributor and wholesaler in the telecommunications and consumer electronics sector will in future use two of the total of three units in the new-build logistics park developed jointly by BGO, a globally operating real estate investment manager, and Düsseldorf-based project developer PRODAC Industrial Real Estate at Grunstedter Weg 7. The owner side was legally advised by BCLP.

The leased space comprises around 20,674 m² of warehouse space, about 924 m² of office and social space and around 1,577 m² of warehouse mezzanine space. In addition, Tekpoint has 24 car parking spaces and eight truck parking spaces at its disposal.
The FOCUS logistics park was completed on a site of around 55,000 m². Its total rental space is around 34,602 m². Of this, around 30,728 m² is warehouse space, about 1,519 m² office and social space and around 2,355 m² warehouse mezzanine space.

Features include a clear hall height of 12.20 m, a floor load capacity of 7 t/m², WHG sealing of the hall floor slab and heating by means of heat pumps. The property has a DGNB Gold certification. One unit with a total of around 11,427 m² is currently still available to potential tenants.

PRODAC Industrial Real Estate also rates the deal as an important letting success for the location. “With Tekpoint, the FOCUS logistics park gains an internationally active user whose requirements match the qualities of the property,” adds Lars Zimmermann, Managing Director of PRODAC Industrial Real Estate. “The combination of a modern building concept, a sustainable orientation and immediate proximity to major transport axes makes the Nohra location a compelling address for logistics and distribution companies.”
Via the Nohra junction there is a direct connection to the A4; the Erfurt motorway interchange with access to the A71 is also only a few minutes’ drive away. Nohra station is only around 600 metres away and can be reached on foot. In addition, the DHL freight mail centre Nohra is within sight on the neighbouring site, and the Erfurt freight village is only around eleven kilometres away.
