Logivest brokers more than 5,000 square metres of new-build space for first letting in Berlin

The holistic logistics real estate consultancy Logivest has successfully supported the Berlin-based spirits producer O'Donnell Moonshine in leasing new logistics space in the Berlin district of Weißensee. The landlord of the new building An der Industriebahn is Prologis Germany Management GmbH.

O'Donnell Moonshine GmbH was looking for a spacious, modern property close to the city centre that would combine production, logistics and offices at a single site. Logivest then brokered one of the three units in a new business park in Berlin-Weißensee to the company. The property is being developed to the latest standards and is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2027.

There, the spirits producer is moving in as first tenant, occupying a total area of more than 5,000 square metres. This comprises around 4,500 square metres of hall and warehouse space, approximately 400 square metres of office space and an open-air area. The hall has a clear height of 10.50 metres to the underside of the girders and is located on a plot of around 32,500 square metres.

The property's sustainable features include a photovoltaic system, LED lighting, an electric heat pump with air heaters and EV charging stations for cars and bicycles. In addition, the building has DGNB Platinum certification. Two ground-level doors and 18 dock doors with ramps are available for loading and unloading. A further special feature of the hall is the WGK 3 liner (for water hazard class 3) explicitly requested by the client. The new building is centrally located in Berlin-Weißensee, a ten-minute drive from the A114 and a quarter of an hour from the A10 motorway.
