Panattoni Park Bonn Nord 80 percent let: DSV secures space

By the time Panattoni Park Bonn Nord is completed, 80 percent of the space in Bornheim has already been let. With the tenant, DSV, a globally active company in the transport and logistics sector is moving into the state-of-the-art logistics property of Panattoni, Germany's largest developer of logistics, industrial and commercial real estate. For other interested companies, a flexibly usable unit equipped with WHG foil (WGK III) with approx. 3,520 m² is now available.

Panattoni Park Bonn Nord extends over a plot of approx. 42,700 m² in a newly developed industrial park in Bornheim-Hersel and offers a total of four flexibly divisible units with area sizes between 3,520 m² and 6,000 m². In the future, DSV will use a total of 19,560 m² of logistics space as well as 1,600 m² of office space and 1,330 m² of mezzanine space as an additional distribution centre. The property is located between the metropolises of Cologne and Bonn and in direct connection to the A 555. The proximity to Cologne, which can be reached in about 30 minutes, as well as to Bornheim city center, which is about 25 minutes away, are also strong selling points. Bornheim itself is one of the fastest growing cities in the region. "The strategic location and modern construction of the project offer ideal conditions for companies looking to expand in the region," explains Fred-Markus Bohne, Managing Partner at Panattoni Germany and Austria. "We are pleased to have won DSV as an anchor tenant for Panattoni Park Bonn Nord."

From gravel pit to up-and-coming industrial area

For the project, which was developed on a former gravel pit, Panattoni is striving for gold certification according to the criteria of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). In addition to a photovoltaic system, green roofs and rainwater harvesting contribute to the sustainability of the property. In addition, a mobility concept has been developed to avoid parked trucks on public roads. "The cooperation with Panattoni was constructive and goal-oriented from the very beginning," says Joachim Strauß, Managing Director of the Bornheim Economic Development Agency. "Panattoni Park Bonn Nord with its innovative users will strengthen the economic development of our region in the long term."

The last available unit in Panattoni Park Bonn Nord is suitable for a wide variety of logistical uses with an area of approx. 3,520 m² and is available for rent by interested companies.

The lease agreement with DSV was brokered by JLL, while Angermann holds the lead mandate.
