MLP Park Spreenhagen: Symbolic ground-breaking ceremony for the MLP Group's second project near Berlin

On May 15, 2025, the MLP Group and LIST Bau Bielefeld celebrated the start of construction work at MLP Park Spreenhagen. Christine Reinhold, Mayor of the municipality of Spreenhagen, as well as representatives of the municipality, the Spreenhagen office and both companies were present at the celebrations. Completion of the modern multi-user park is scheduled for the end of 2025.

The MLP Group, a developer, owner and manager of high-quality commercial, industrial and logistics parks specializing in brownfield sites, celebrated the symbolic ground-breaking ceremony at MLP Park Spreenhagen in the Brandenburg municipality of the same name with its partner LIST Bau Bielefeld on 15 May 2025. In addition to representatives from both companies, Christine Reinhold, Mayor of the municipality of Spreenhagen, as well as representatives from the municipality and the Spreenhagen office were among the guests. The new multi-user park is already the MLP Group's second project in the Berlin-Brandenburg capital region and will have a total usable area of around 39,000 m² on completion. Thanks to flexibly divisible units of between 3,500 m² and 33,800 m², it is ideally suited for the settlement of potential users from the production, logistics and (online) retail sectors. In addition, the floor slab is WGK 3-compliant (water hazard class) and the sprinkler system meets the highest FM Global standards, meaning that the property is also suitable for storing batteries and accumulators, for example.

Situated on an 84,386 m² site in the municipality of Spreenhagen, the MLP Park has an excellent location just 15 km from Berlin. The A12 highway, which links the capital with Frankfurt (Oder) and Poland, provides good connections to Eastern Europe as well as Western and Central Europe. Berlin Brandenburg Airport is also only around 20 km from the site.

Christine Reinhold, Mayor of the municipality of Spreenhagen, commented on the ground-breaking ceremony as follows: "The construction of the MLP Park Spreenhagen in our municipality strengthens the community and is also a strong sign of the attractiveness of the state of Brandenburg. We are delighted that the MLP Group is making new space available for companies in Spreenhagen through its project. This will create further jobs that will create and maintain prosperity and drive our economic strength. This is very much welcomed by the community."

The entire new building is being constructed using state-of-the-art technology and in line with the MLP Group's sustainability strategy. In addition to the installation of a photovoltaic system for sustainable and ecological management and e-charging points, the developer is planning air-to-air heat pumps for fossil-free heating of the property. Certification in accordance with the DGNB Gold Standard (German Sustainable Building Council) is also being sought.
