New: 6,000 square metres of modern covered storage space
Gruber Logistics expands capacities at the Verona site
- June 2026
Ora / Verona – At the Interporto Quadrante Europa freight center in Verona, Gruber Logistics is expanding its logistics offering in the Italian metropolis this spring. On 6,000 square meters of warehouse space, a customer who has been tied to the renowned service provider for a long time has up to 5,000 pallet spaces on shelves and 1,400 square meters for bulk goods, among other things. In addition, the new facility will have 3,000 square meters of space for storing goods outdoors. Ten loading bays and 25 ramps ensure fast handling of goods on and off the trucks in a hub in the province of Veneto.
In 2024, Gruber Logistics moved into a logistics location with modern office space, where almost 100 of its own employees now work in the office and warehouse. The Verona branch, which already has 70 loading ramps for extensive business in the Veneto region, has now been supplemented by new capacities in the immediate vicinity thanks to a long-term agreement with the client.

"This expansion in Verona is a clear example of how strong partnerships and a shared long-term vision drive sustainable growth. Together with our customers, we make targeted investments that not only strengthen our operational capabilities, but also create lasting added value. Our strategies are closely aligned so that we can support each other in our development and build a resilient, future-oriented logistics network," says Marco Manfredini, Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Gruber Logistics.
Gruber Logistics has been present in Verona for more than four decades. In the city of over 250,000 inhabitants, which benefits from the convenient connection to the Brenner transit route, the almost 100 employees work for customer needs. The expansion of this location has made a significant contribution to the further development of the transport and logistics group in recent years.
Manuel Scaramuzza, Executive Director Solution & Logistics Services at Gruber Logistics, emphasizes in this context: "For us, logistics is not a commodity, but a service with added value. Locations like the one in Verona allow us to combine operational excellence with the evolution of our people and digital infrastructure. By integrating these elements, we create solutions that go beyond mere execution and provide measurable benefits for our customers' supply chains."
Matteo Gasparato of the Consorzio ZAI, which initiated the Interporto Quadrante Europa freight centre as a driver for the development of the economy in the Verona region, adds: "The second warehouse opening in the Interporto Quadrante Europa confirms the central importance of our transshipment point as a strategic logistics platform at national and European level. This investment strengthens the operational capacity of the Verona system and consolidates its role in the international flow of goods. This results in advantages for companies and the region."
Gruber Logistics can look back on a long-standing and fruitful partnership with the Interporto Quadrante Europa. The extensive site in the west of the city offers ideal conditions for handling daily logistics operations.
