With the restructuring, Navid Thielemann is further expanding his stake in the RECHT Logistik Group. His shares in RECHT Kontraktlogistik GmbH (RKL) have been increased from 62.5 percent to 100 percent. Christian Karl Flick will continue to hold a 17.5 percent stake in RECHT Logistik GmbH (RL), while Navid Thielemann will hold 82.5 percent of the shares in the future.

New management structure

At the same time, the Group is also restructuring its personnel: Matthias Weiner, CEO of RECHT Kontraktlogistik, will retire at the end of the year. Christian Karl Flick, COO of the ThielemannGroup, will also take over the operational and strategic management of RECHT Kontraktlogistik and RECHT Logistik as CEO. Dr. Stefan Karenfort, CFO of ThielemannGroup, will also assume the CFO function for both companies. Volker Henssen will continue to be responsible for the operational business of RECHT Kontraktlogistik as COO.

"RECHT Contract Logistics has developed excellently in recent years. I am very pleased that in Navid Thielemann we have a shareholder who is willing to invest in the company, the locations and further growth in the long term. At the same time, it is a good time for me to hand over responsibility gradually," says Matthias Weiner.

Navid Thielemann adds: "RECHT has a strong market position, a high level of operational expertise and great development potential – especially in contract logistics. We want to develop the company in a targeted manner, create additional capacities and position the Group as a high-performance logistics partner for industry and trade in the long term. My special thanks go to Matthias Weiner for his work and his contribution to the successful development of RECHT Kontraktlogistik. At the same time, I have full confidence in the new management structure, with which we will consistently tackle the next growth steps."

Contract logistics as a growth focus

Contract logistics is increasingly becoming the Group's growth driver – double-digit growth rates are also targeted for the next few years. New customer projects and additional capacities at existing and new locations are expected to further accelerate this development.

The group of companies currently has twelve operating locations or locations under construction. The ThielemannGroup is currently investing around 240 million euros in the expansion of its logistics and real estate activities, which are used by the RECHT Logistik Group. North Rhine-Westphalia remains the strategic focus of logistics real estate development. The ThielemannGroup is also expanding its presence in a targeted manner: The new Wernberg-Köblitz site in Bavaria is scheduled to go into operation in September 2026 and will strengthen the connection to southern Germany and Central and Eastern Europe in particular in the future. In addition, the group is examining suitable properties and locations in the north. The aim is to build a strong north-south axis, with North Rhine-Westphalia as the central starting point for further development.

The ThielemannGroup is also sticking to its long-term investment plans at the Cologne site. The RECHT Logistik Group will take over the logistics services for Makita there in the future as planned. Together with the city of Cologne, the group of companies is currently working on an adapted usage concept for the site, which is currently in the final coordination.

In addition, the ThielemannGroup is developing a sustainable logistics campus with trimodal connections and around 40,000 square meters of logistics space in the Rhine port of Krefeld. Construction is scheduled to start in the second quarter of 2027.

Sustainable transport

RECHT Logistik, the freight forwarding part of the group, will focus more on existing customer business and the further expansion of sustainable transport solutions in the future.

"Around 50 percent of our own fleet already runs on alternative fuels such as LNG or CNG," says Christian Karl Flick. "In addition, we are testing hydrogen and electric trucks in live operation. Sustainable transport solutions are increasingly becoming a decisive competitive factor for many customers."

With around 500 employees, the RECHT Logistik Group now provides plant, distribution, transport and contract logistics services throughout Germany. The group of companies focuses on integrated logistics solutions for industrial, commercial and e-commerce customers. The turnover of the RECHT Logistik Group amounted to well over 80 million euros in the 2025 financial year.
