Noerpel Group connects first customer shops to TikTok Shop Germany

  • Social media platform integrates shopping function
  • Noerpel offers manufacturers a complete fulfilment solution
  • Logistics service provider is one of the first providers

The Noerpel Group is expanding its e-commerce services: The logistics service provider has connected its first customer projects to the new TikTok Shop Germany. Since 31 March 2025 - the launch of the shopping function on TikTok - Noerpel has been handling order processing for orders generated via the social media platform. This makes the Noerpel Group one of the first service providers to offer manufacturers fulfilment for TikTok Shop Germany.
The social media platform TikTok went online with its shopping function in Germany at the end of March. This integrated offering has long been available in the USA and the UK, with Ireland and Spain being added at the end of 2024. The TikTok Shop combines entertainment elements with a shopping experience - the products presented in the videos can be purchased with just a few clicks without having to leave the app.

The Noerpel Group is now supporting the first companies to present their products on the social media platform and market them via the TikTok Shop Germany. ‘As a fulfilment service provider, we support our customers who want to use this additional sales channel,’ says Mark Wehner, Managing Director of Noerpel subsidiary Wehner Logistics GmbH & Co. KG. ‘Social commerce is the trend. We see great potential for our customers in the combination of social media and e-commerce.’

Starting signal in Langenfeld

Noerpel is processing the first orders from the TikTok Shop at its logistics centre in Langenfeld, where its subsidiary Wehner Logistics is based. Around 18,600 pallet spaces and 20,000 rack spaces for a wide variety of products are available on an area of around 14,500 square metres. Consumer goods in particular are stored here, from household items to toys and foodstuffs.

The first customers whose shop systems Noerpel has successfully connected to TikTok are from the food sector - with more projects to follow. ‘We offer this fulfilment solution in the long term at each of our Noerpel logistics locations throughout Germany,’ says Mark Wehner.

Expertise in IT and logistics

The integration of the customer shops is managed by a team of experts from the Noerpel Group: this includes IT specialists for the smooth interface connection as well as operational experts who monitor the quality of service at every step of the logistics process. ‘We develop state-of-the-art solutions and implement them appropriately for each customer project,’ says Lucas Noerpel-Schneider, CEO of the Noerpel Group. ‘We will continue to strengthen our commitment to the social commerce segment and look forward to every customer who wants to join us in TikTok fulfilment.’
