Nagel-Group and B+S build scalable omnichannel logistics platform for KoRo

Hamburg/Berlin, 18 June 2026. In the future, the Nagel-Group will take over central logistics services for KoRo Handels GmbH. The operational implementation is carried out by the multichannel specialist B+S GmbH Logistik und Dienstleistungen. The Berlin-based food brand is thus creating the operational basis for its next phase of growth in Germany and Europe. The goal is a scalable logistics platform that connects e-commerce, brick-and-mortar retail and international markets in one system.

Logistics platform for KoRos next growth phase

In recent years, KoRo has evolved from a digital food brand to a European omnichannel brand. In addition to the online shop, the presence in brick-and-mortar retail is growing significantly. In Germany, KoRo is now available at around 15,000 sales outlets. For this next scaling phase, the company needs a logistics structure that can reliably handle larger volumes, different sales channels and country-specific requirements.

At the Alzenau site, B+S Logistik provides comprehensive services along the entire supply chain: from warehousing and order picking to value-added services such as packaging, co-packing and display construction to national and Europe-wide distribution. By connecting to the Nagel-Group's Europe-wide network, KoRo can serve both brick-and-mortar retail and e-commerce business more efficiently and flexibly.

Basis for further growth in Europe

KoRo has further accelerated its growth course in 2025: The company increased sales to 252 million euros, grew by 44 percent year-on-year and achieved a clearly positive result at group level as well as positive operating cash flow.  In the coming years, the company plans further profitable growth and the further expansion of its omnichannel strategy. The company sees great growth potential in France and Italy in particular as well as in the German food retail sector.

The partnership with the Nagel-Group and B+S Logistik forms the logistical backbone for this. Thanks to the dense European network of the Nagel-Group, both national and international markets can be efficiently developed. The new logistics structure makes it possible to efficiently handle increasing volumes and at the same time react flexibly to different market requirements. A special focus is on reliably serving different distribution models – from central retail structures to country-specific delivery requirements.

High demands on quality and processes

As a supplier of high-quality, predominantly plant-based food, KoRo places high demands on its logistics partners. The wide range of snacks, dried fruits, nut butters, breakfast products and functional foods places different demands on storage, picking and packaging. In addition to strict food standards, transport-safe packaging plays a central role, for example for sensitive products or large-volume containers in e-commerce. Especially in the omnichannel model, logistics is not only an operational process, but also a central component for the availability of goods, product protection and customer experience.

Dr. Steffani Busch, COO KoRo: "KoRo is now growing across several channels at the same time: in the online shop, in retail and internationally. To do this, we need logistics that can keep up with this pace and at the same time meet our requirements for quality, transparency and reliability. With the Nagel-Group and B+S, we are creating the logistical basis to scale our omnichannel model in Germany and Europe."

Step-by-step start of cooperation

The operational start will take place in several phases: The first goods receipt in the B2B sector took place on April 15, 2026, and the outbound processes were launched at the beginning of June. The B2C business will start as planned from August 2026.

Clemens von Ketteler, Managing Director of B+S: "KoRo is a dynamically growing company with high demands on its supply chain. We are pleased to make a significant contribution to further expansion with our integrated logistics solution. Together, we are creating efficient, flexible and sustainable structures for future growth."

As part of the partnership, continuous further development of logistics processes is also planned. This includes, in particular, the gradual increase in the degree of automation in the area of packaging and order picking.
