
MB Park and ISARKIES receive building permit for multimax project development in the middle of Germany
- Sustainable logistics hall concept is being built in the Knüllwald-Remsfeld industrial park directly on the A7 motorway
- Good labour availability in the triangle between Kassel, Marburg and Bad Hersfeld
Frankfurt/Knüllwald, 21 April 2026 – MB Park Deutschland – a real estate project developer for high-quality logistics properties and business parks based in Neu-Isenburg and Munich – has received the building permit for a modern logistics hall directly on the A7 motorway together with its joint venture partner Isarkies Wohn- und Gewerbegrund. This will enable the joint venture to provide the market with a flexibly usable, 23,300 m² property in the multimax concept within twelve months.

The multimax is being built on a 49,600 m² development site in the Knüllwald-Remsfeld inter-municipal industrial park in the Schwalm-Eder district of northern Hesse. It is located in the triangle between the cities of Kassel, Marburg and Bad Hersfeld, with a direct connection to the Homberg (Efze) junction.
The third-party property is designed for one single tenant as well as for up to three users. It will be equipped with the latest ESG standards and DGNB Gold certification. Upon completion, around 20,940 m² of hall space and 2,370 m² of office, general, social and gallery space will be available.
A photovoltaic system is used to supply the building itself. The heating system is electricity-based according to the heat pump principle with cooling function. 20 overload ramp gates and six ground-level gates ensure an efficient delivery situation. Employees, guests and partner companies have 114 car and seven truck parking spaces at their disposal.
"It is one of the few available plots of land that can still be built on. In the years 2018 to 2023, well-known companies such as Amazon, Palletways, E.L.V.I.S., Ernsting EU Logistik and Kiesel have settled in the 41-hectare inter-municipal Knüllwald-Remsfeld industrial park. A modern service area in the 24-truck stop concept welcomes trucker drivers and private travellers around the clock in a modern facility with 170 truck parking spaces alone," reports Jürgen Liebermann, mayor of the city of Schwarzenborn and chairman of the Schwalm-Eder-Mitte special-purpose association.
At the same time, the availability of labour is high, as potential employees now still have to travel long distances to Bad Hersfeld or Kassel, but prefer to work on their doorstep.
"Interesting user industries are the medical technology and automotive industries, which are strongly represented in the region, as well as their logistics companies and e-commerce," informs Jens Herbert, Managing Director of MB Park Deutschland GmbH.
"The fact that the location is located in the middle of Germany and is characterized by an unbeatable connection to the north-south and east-west axis speaks for its success. It is ideally suited for transshipment traffic as well as for the manufacturing industry," explains Herbert Blaschke, Managing Director of Isarkies Wohn- und Gewerbegrund GmbH & Co. KG.
In addition, there is still a plot of around 80,000 square metres available for the (BA III) and a plot of around 20,000 square metres (BA IV). This makes the location also interesting for large-volume settlements.
