GLP logistics centre Mönchengladbach Regioparkring fully let after new contract signed

Frankfurt, 28 February 2025 - GLP, a leading global business developer, owner, developer and operator of logistics real estate, digital infrastructure and renewable energy systems, today announces that its Mönchengladbach Regioparkring logistics centre is now fully let following the signing of a new contract.

The final four units, with a total area of around 65,000 square metres, have been let to Goodcang Logistics GmbH, a leading international e-commerce fulfilment company, which intends to use the units to expand its logistics activities in Germany. Goodcang has already rented two units in the building since 2021 and, with the additional units, now has a total area of around 98,000 square metres.
The 134,000 square metre logistics centre is now fully let and strengthens its status as an important distribution location in the Rhine-Ruhr region.

The logistics centre is strategically located in the Regiopark Mönchengladbach and has excellent connections to the main transport networks, including the A61, A46 and A44 motorways. The proximity to a well-developed rail network, international airports and important inland ports along the Rhine supports smooth national and international distribution.

The site has been designed to meet the highest industry standards with a clear height of 13.5 metres and highly specialised storage facilities. With 413 car parking spaces and 40 special parking spaces for trailers, the site also offers sufficient space for trailers and car parks.

Rated 'very good' according to BREEAM in Use, the facility is in line with GLP's commitment to build all new developments in Germany to a strict sustainability standard. The site also features a photovoltaic (PV) system, which is currently in the commissioning phase on the roofs of units 1-3, supporting the generation of renewable energy and reducing operating costs.

Lukas Grimm, Senior Asset Manager, GLP, said: "The full occupancy of the Mönchengladbach Regioparkring logistics centre underlines the strong demand for modern, well-located logistics properties. Our focus on providing high quality, sustainable space that increases operational efficiency underlines the attractiveness of our portfolio to leading companies. We are delighted that we can continue to grow together with Goodcang at our location."
