FUXTEC and Gebrüder Weiss master the spring boom

Esslingen / Lauterach, 16 April 2025 - With the start of the gardening season, online retail is experiencing a strong boost. The demand for leisure articles and gardening tools increases by leaps and bounds. One of the winners is FUXTEC GmbH in Herrenberg / Baden-Württemberg. The company mainly sells its products via its own web shop and other online platforms. FUXTEC relies on its logistics partner Gebrüder Weiss to ensure that the spring items arrive on time.
At the 12,000 square metre FUXTEC logistics centre in Simmozheim (northern Black Forest), around 20 employees ensure a rapid flow of orders. Every day, Gebrüder Weiss collects the packages ready for dispatch and takes them to the logistics centre in Esslingen near Stuttgart. There, after thorough routine checks, they are prepared for onward transport to the customers.
"We have been supporting FUXTEC in Germany for one and a half years. We now process almost 10,000 consignments per year, with peaks of up to 100 packages per day in the spring season," explains Jochen Gonser, Deputy Branch Manager of Gebrüder Weiss in Esslingen. Gebrüder Weiss delivers FUXTEC products directly to your doorstep within 24 hours of ordering in Germany and 48 hours in other European countries via a dense network of its own depots and partner locations.
‘In online retail, delivery reliability is what counts most,’ explains Steffen Cless, Head of Logistics at FUXTEC. FUXTEC can check the status of deliveries at any time on the myGW web portal from Gebrüder Weiss. The delivery service is well received by customers. 98 per cent of buyer ratings on fuxtec.de show the top score of five stars.
