CTP, Europe's largest listed owner, developer and portfolio holder of logistics and industrial real estate, has completed the first halls of CTPark Krefeld in North Rhine-Westphalia for use. The modern and urban business park offers a total of around 17,000 m² of rental space. Halls A and B, which have already been completed, together comprise approx. 6,430 m², Hall A with approx. 2,300 m² of hall space and 865 m² of office and social space, and Hall B with approx. 2,400 m² of hall space and 865 m² of office and social space. The new halls can be flexibly divided and are therefore also suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
For sustainable operation, the halls are equipped with a large-scale photovoltaic system, heat pumps for fossil-free heating and energy-efficient lighting systems, among other things. In addition, the property has charging stations for electric vehicles as well as spacious green areas. CTP is striving for DGNB Gold certification for all CTPark Krefeld buildings.
CTPark Krefeld is being built on a plot of around 31,700 m² in the west of the city, only 2.7 km from the city centre. The A44 and A57 motorways are less than a 10-minute drive away, and Düsseldorf Airport (DUS) is just 25 minutes away. Several bicycle paths run in the immediate vicinity. In addition, the business park is excellently connected to public transport with a tram stop within walking distance.
"Krefeld has developed from a historic centre for the velvet and silk industry into a modern, growing production and economic hub that offers a highly qualified workforce. Our flexible and sustainably equipped spaces offer companies of all sizes optimal conditions for smooth growth. Tenants benefit in particular from the urban location and the modern equipment of the park," says Sarah Klein, Construction Director at CTP Germany.
