Fiege expands to Great Britain

The logistics service provider Fiege is putting a new multi-user centre into operation in Hams Hall near Birmingham – and is continuing to push ahead with its expansion and growth strategy.

Greven/Hams Hall, 8 October 2025 — The Fiege Group is expanding to the UK: In the immediate vicinity of Birmingham (England), in Hams Hall, the logistics service provider from Greven, Westphalia, has put a new and state-of-the-art multi-user centre into operation. Fiege is taking over the fulfilment for an existing customer from the e-commerce sector in Hams Hall on an area of over 24,000 square metres. Other customers in the UK are to follow. To this end, Fiege plans to hire up to 750 employees at its new location.

Jens Fiege, who runs the family business together with his cousin Felix Fiege in the fifth generation, says about the expansion: "Our entry into the British market is an important step in strengthening our European network. At the same time, with our new logistics center, we are supporting the growth of an important existing customer from e-commerce, for whom we already provide fulfillment services throughout Europe." And Felix Fiege adds: "The launch in Great Britain is a milestone for us, because with this step we are closing a gap in our European presence. In the future, we will be able to offer our customers throughout Europe even better and more comprehensive services. We are looking forward to writing a new Fiege chapter in England together with our highly motivated team – and to new success and growth stories together with our customers."

In addition to the new location in England, Fiege is active in 14 other countries from Europe to China and has around 4.6 million square metres of logistics space worldwide. Now an additional 24,000 square metres are being added in Hams Hall as well as another Fiege point on the map of Europe.
