Solarwatt opens new installation site in North Rhine-Westphalia - Brockhoff brokers office and hall combination with 1,900 m² of space

Solarwatt, a pioneer in the field of solar-powered sector coupling, is planning to open a further installation site in Germany. The Dresden-based solar company is setting up its own workshop in Bochum, which will install and commission up to 1,000 new photovoltaic systems per year. The opening is scheduled for the second quarter of 2023. Brockhoff advised on the letting of the 1,900 m² office and hall combination. The owner of the property is a private investor.

The Managing Director of Bochum Economic Development is convinced: "Generating electricity sustainably is crucial for the energy production of the future. Bringing together cutting-edge technology and qualified personnel with precisely this expertise in Bochum, in the centre of the densely populated Ruhr region, is a success."

Solarwatt has a network of 8,500 craftsmen throughout Europe - and therefore has one of the largest assembly capacities in the European solar industry. The medium-sized company from Saxony sold 66,000 photovoltaic systems in Europe in 2022, around two thirds of which were in Germany. This year, sales are set to rise to a total of 100,000 systems.
