In Pulheim, North Rhine-Westphalia, the holistic logistics real estate consultant Logivest has brokered around 9,000 square metres for the Maintrans Group. The landlord of the property is Segmüller Polstermöbelfabrik GmbH & Co KG.

The Maintrans Group, a logistics and transport service provider operating throughout Germany, was looking for additional warehouse space in the greater Cologne area. Logivest brokered a modern logistics property with around 9,000 square meters of warehouse space as well as additional office and social space.

At the new location, the Maintrans Group handles handling, storage and sorting processes for customers in the e-commerce and last-mile sectors. With the lease, the company is strengthening its presence in North Rhine-Westphalia and creating additional capacity for further growth as well as the efficient handling of logistics services.

The property at Segmüller-Allee 3 has 14 loading ramps and one access ramp. For the tenant, it was also crucial that the space could be used 24/7. In addition, there is sufficient outdoor space available on which smaller vans can be parked, for example.

"Pulheim is conveniently located in the catchment area of Cologne and is connected via several motorways: the A1 is only about four kilometres away, the A57 about eight kilometres away. The Cologne-North motorway junction can also be reached in less than a quarter of an hour. This means that the location is optimally connected to the motorway network," says Marlon Bäumler, Consultant Industrial & Logistics (Letting) at Logivest NRW GmbH.
