Intralogistics solutions for economic challenges
WILTSCHE supports its customers in meeting current challenges with flexible and ecological solutions for small and large warehouses. The company will be presenting its mobile conveyors from 25 - 27 April 2023 in Hall 1, Stand 1J02.
Soest, 24.04.2023 - High energy prices, a shortage of storage space and a shortage of skilled workers will continue to determine the general conditions in logistics in 2023. At the same time, more and more manufacturers and companies are increasingly stockpiling products and parts regionally due to fragile supply chains, which is leading to a further shortage of storage space.
It is therefore all the more important to organise your own processes in such a way that the available space is optimally utilised. Mobile conveyors such as scissor roller conveyors are ideal for this, according to Baret Davidian, Managing Partner at WILTSCHE: "Warehouse managers must be able to act flexibly and adapt just as quickly to peaks in demand as to high levels of sickness. The use of mobile conveyors, which can be utilised as required and adapted to current requirements, is ideal for this."

The scissor roller conveyors can be deployed wherever they are needed in just a few simple steps. They can be easily integrated into the existing infrastructure. In combination with ball transfer tables, the consignments can also be easily sorted by hand at defined points and diverted to branching conveyors without causing delays. Zero pressure accumulation zones prevent parcels and packages from colliding and clogging the conveyor belts. To achieve this, the scissor roller conveyors work with optical sensors that act as electronic limit switches: When a package reaches the removal end of the scissor roller conveyor, it stops automatically. Once the package has been removed, the scissor roller conveyor automatically restarts until the next package reaches the sensors.
The mobile loading systems for lorries and vans from WILTSCHE are also popular, as they make loading and unloading vehicles faster and more efficient. At the same time, the use of the systems also relieves the strain on employees, says Baret Davidian: "With these systems, loose packages such as cartons are transported safely and efficiently directly into or out of the vehicle, which can then be conveniently loaded or unloaded," says Baret Davidian. "Our customers' experience shows that the use of scissor roller conveyors makes loading and unloading vehicles up to 50 per cent more efficient."
