Three new companies move into SEGRO Park Berlin Airport
SEGRO has leased a total of around 3,900 square metres to three new customers at SEGRO Park Berlin Airport.
In February 2024, the international air and sea freight forwarder Five Star Global Logistics GmbH moved into 500 square metres. Prior to this, Gerhard Bischoff GmbH, a game and poultry wholesaler, moved into 2,700 square metres. Hagleitner Hygiene Deutschland GmbH has also recently taken 700 square metres for the distribution of hygiene products.
The park currently comprises approx. 85,000 square metres of commercial space, consisting of small to medium-sized units. The park also has approx. 72,500 square metres of large-scale logistics units. Additional commercial and logistics units are already being planned.
In line with SEGRO's commitment to low-carbon growth, all properties at SEGRO Park Berlin Airport have been awarded the DGNB sustainability certificate in gold. In addition to green roofs and façades and the use of wooden trusses, charging stations for electric vehicles are available to every SEGRO customer. In addition, a photovoltaic system with a peak output of almost one megawatt will soon be installed, the electricity from which will also be offered to tenants so that they can reduce their own CO2 consumption and energy costs. To create a healthy ecosystem, beehives, insect hotels and nesting boxes for native birds have been installed on the site.
SEGRO Park Berlin Airport is located in the immediate vicinity of the new Berlin-Brandenburg airport. The park is located directly on the B 96a and offers optimal access to the motorway network via the A 113 and A 117.
