Sustainable Niederrhein business park being built with 47,000 m² of space - DGNB Gold certification aimed for, photovoltaic system on the roof area
A modern and sustainable business park is being built in Neukirchen-Vluyn, North Rhine-Westphalia. Planning permission was granted for the first construction phase of the Niederrhein business park with a total area of around 47,000 square metres at the beginning of June and construction work can begin shortly on the first of two construction phases (approx. 25,000 m²), which should be ready for occupancy from the fourth quarter of 2024. The entire site covers around 129,000 square metres of land. The Multiuser Park Am Hoschenhof 5 is aiming for DGNB Gold certification and will be equipped with a photovoltaic system, charging points for electric cars and green outdoor areas on the roof, among other things. BNP Paribas Real Estate's Logistics & Industrial Advisory team in Düsseldorf is advising the developer Mileway as part of an exclusive letting mandate.
The Niederrhein business park is a good brownfield example of the conversion of existing commercial sites into modern logistics facilities without sealing new areas. The property is divided into various units from approx. 5,000 m² upwards and offers multifunctional rental space for national and international users from the production, commercial and logistics sectors. The Niederrhein business park is located in the border triangle of Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium and offers direct transport links to the Ruhr region via the A40 and A57 motorways as well as to the container terminals in Duisburg, Venlo, Wesel and Neuss and also to Düsseldorf Airport.
