SEGRO has let a total of around 10,000 square metres to six new customers at SEGRO Park Berlin Airport.

SEGRO has leased a total of around 10,000 square metres to six new customers at SEGRO Park Berlin Airport. The companies are MiniTec Berlin GmbH, nanobike GmbH, Swapfiets (Swaprad GmbH), ABiTEP GmbH, Sovereign Speed and Ingenieurbüro Michael Welz. All lettings relate to the business park section of the park, which together with the logistics section covers 157,500 square metres. Only around 6,000 square metres are currently available to interested companies at SEGRO Park Berlin Airport.

"Despite the current economic situation, we are pleased to see consistently good demand from a wide range of companies," says Christina Schultz, Associate Director Development Light Industrial at SEGRO.

MiniTec, which is renting 1,600 square metres, is a machine and plant manufacturer with its own profile system.

Swapfiets is the largest bicycle subscription provider with Dutch roots. The company will use 2,700 square metres to store and repair bicycles, e-bikes and spare parts.

As part of the Andermatt Group, ABiTEP GmbH strives to find sensible biological alternatives to conventional chemical-synthetic pesticides, fertilisers and animal feed. The rented 2,750 square metres will be used for the formulation, filling and storage of products.

The express logistics service provider and existing tenant Sovereign Speed is now renting 760 square metres, thereby expanding its space at SEGRO in Berlin.

The new SEGRO customer nanobike GmbH, an off- and online specialist retailer for bicycles, accounts for around 2,250 square metres of commercial space.

In addition, the nationally active civil engineering firm Michael Welz has signed a contract for 90 square metres of office space.

All areas of the site have been awarded the DGNB Gold sustainability certificate. Sustainability takes centre stage at SEGRO Park Berlin Airport. In addition to green roofs and façades and the use of wooden trusses, SEGRO is planning a photovoltaic system.
