SEGRO leases 2,100 square metres of commercial space in Düsseldorf to TIER and TOTANI

TIER Mobility moved into 1,300 square metres of commercial space in SEGRO Park Düsseldorf City at the beginning of the year. TIER Mobility previously rented 800 square metres in SEGRO Park Düsseldorf-Süd, which the Japanese mechanical engineering company TOTANI will move into in March.

TIER Mobility, a fast-growing rental company for e-scooters and e-bikes founded in 2018, uses the space at SEGRO to maintain the vehicles and charge the batteries. The company also already rents space at SEGRO in Cologne. Founded in 1961, TOTANI is a market leader in the production of machines that manufacture packaging such as bags and pouches for various uses.

Both of SEGRO's commercial sites were built according to modern standards for sustainable, ecological and energy-conscious construction. In addition to green spaces, the sites also feature beehives, insect hotels and nesting holes for native birds. In addition, glulam beams from the region were used in some of the halls. In the buildings, modern motion detectors control the LED lighting, which is supplemented with plenty of daylight. Together with green seating areas, this contributes to an increased sense of well-being for the tenants in their working environment. The areas also offer charging facilities for electric vehicles. Photovoltaic systems are also currently being planned for the hall roofs.

SEGRO Park Düsseldorf South is ideally connected to the motorway network and the airport and is around ten kilometres from Düsseldorf city centre. There is a tram stop directly in front of the site. From there, the Holthausen underground station and Benrath railway station can be reached in around five minutes.
