Pandora opens 18,000 m² distribution centre in Hamburg
JLL advises the tenant and provides intralogistics expansion, project management and monitoring
HAMBURG, 11 July 2024 - Jewellery manufacturer Pandora is relocating within Hamburg. The Danish company has rented around 18,000 m² at Bredowstraße 34 in the Billbrook district, including around 15,000 m² of hall space and around 3,000 m² of office, social and mezzanine space. The property will be used as a distribution centre after the previous location at Hans-Duncker-Strasse 14 in the Allermöhe district became too small. JLL advised the tenant, brokered the deal and was commissioned with the expansion of intralogistics as well as project monitoring and management in the new property. JLL is also managing the demolition obligations at the former site.
The project developer and investor ECE Work & Live is the landlord of the fully let logistics property, which covers a total of around 25,000 m². The property was built in 2024 and is equipped with heat pumps and a photovoltaic system on the roof. The façades and roof are partly made of wood and are greened, and the aim is to achieve DGNB certification to the platinum standard.
