11:00 - 11:45 PortSkill 4.0 - Analysis of the impact of digitalisation and automation on jobs in the port industry - Thomas Lührs, Project Manager PortSkill 4.0, ma-co maritimes competenzcentrum GmbH

The PortSkill 4.0 project is a research project in which the changes in operational and directly related administrative port work and the resulting changes in qualification requirements are analysed. The aim is to analyse, research and develop the skills and qualifications required for the port work of the future. This will lead to the development and research of new learning concepts and methods, in which digital learning will play an important role. New digital learning environments are to be developed that can be tested iteratively by the test persons in a digital test and training centre (DTTC). The establishment of a digital test and training centre (DTTC) for companies and employees in the German port industry will create a new training hub for German port companies, in which the new and old worlds of learning will be combined. The presentation will outline the project's approach and present initial results.
