New tenant for the MLP Business Park Vienna

A non-profit Austrian organisation is the second tenant to secure space in the MLP Business Park Vienna, which is currently under construction. It is renting a total of 3,500 m² of space as part of a long-term lease agreement. Occupation is planned for December 2024.

The MLP Group, a developer, owner and manager of high-quality commercial, industrial and logistics parks specialising in brownfield sites, announces the conclusion of a long-term lease agreement with a non-profit organisation from Austria. The organisation has secured an area of almost 3,500 m² in the urban MLP Business Park Vienna. Of this, 2,900 m² is earmarked for storage purposes, with a further 200 m² for a mezzanine warehouse. The remaining 400 m² will be used as modern recreation and office space for employees. Occupation of the rented space is planned for December 2024.

"We are delighted to have concluded another lease agreement for our coveted MLP Business Park Vienna. We are currently actively negotiating with other potential tenants, all of whom are internationally renowned companies. They are convinced by the prime location of the property in the greater Vienna area, the modern architecture and our sustainable development approach. The construction of the project is also progressing according to plan," says Peter Falb, Chief Country Officer Austria at the MLP Group.

The future user was brokered by property service provider CBRE. Daniel Pfeiffer, Head of Sector Industry & Logistics at CBRE GmbH, comments on the lease as follows: "We are delighted to have brokered another great company to the MLP Business Park Vienna. Modern, city-centre commercial space is currently in high demand, which is why we expect to be able to attract further tenants to MLP Business Park Wien very soon."

Once completed, the MLP Business Park Vienna will have a total usable area of around 53,600 m², spread over four buildings. Flexibly divisible units can be rented from a size of 1,300 m². The new property is therefore primarily aimed at potential users specialising in city logistics, e-commerce and light industrial. In line with its sustainability strategy, the MLP Group is aiming for at least ÖGNI Gold certification.

The business park is being built on a plot of around 100,000 m², around 13 km from the centre of Vienna, and has excellent connections to the S2/A23 motorway. Vienna-Schwechat Airport is also around 23 km away, and there are public bus and train connections in the immediate vicinity.

As part of its build & hold strategy, the MLP Group holds completed parks in its portfolio and manages them. The developer's projects are characterised by attractive locations, speculative development and tenant support over the entire rental period.
