Logistics specialist Mader expands its international business field and network

Ansbach / Nuremberg, 11 December 2023 - Logistics specialist Johann Mader GmbH is further expanding its contract logistics business segment for international companies in the automotive sector. At Mader's Nuremberg site, the logistics specialist is taking over the logistics for the customers of the Indian freight forwarder for sea and air freight Fretlog as a German partner and contact partner. These include globally active automotive suppliers that produce parts for the European market in India and Asia. The two companies, which have been in negotiations for 18 months, signed the cooperation agreement at the end of November 2023 at Mader's headquarters in Ansbach.

Fretlog was founded in 2013 by Muharrem Dursun (Chairmen) and Pradeep Alwar (Managing Director) and is now part of the Turkish ARKAS Group. In addition to locations in India, the company operates branches in Turkey and Japan and maintains a global network of partnerships. Its customers primarily come from the automotive supplier, chemical, natural stone and industrial sectors.

As a co-operation partner of Fretlog, Mader provides contract services that are typical for the automotive industry. These include container on-carriage, unloading of goods, customs clearance and storage, repacking into reusable containers, parts cleaning and container management. Mader also transports and distributes the products to end customers in the European automotive industry. The management of an open bonded warehouse - which represents an expansion of Mader's service portfolio - is currently being planned.
