IDS selects quality winners 2022 - Geis on the podium three times
Kleinostheim, 04 April 2023 - Three IDS depots of the Geis Group are on the winners' podium in the IDS Quality Ranking 2022. Following third place in 2021, Geis Eurocargo in Satteldorf won the quality comparison last year. Geis Bischoff Logistics in Lichtenfels took second place, putting it on the podium for the first time. The bronze medal went to Hans Geis GmbH + Co KG, Kürnach. NLG Ötigheim, which belongs to the Gras Group, climbed 31 places to 18th place.
"In previous years, we have always been on the podium with one or two locations. To have now won gold, silver and bronze makes us very proud," explains Klaus Stäblein, Managing Director of Road Services Germany at the Geis Group. "The result shows that we consistently work at a very high level of quality and that our consistent quality management and continuous improvement processes are taking effect. It goes without saying that we will not let up in the future and will always offer our customers the best possible service and quality."
IDS continues to improve quality at a high level
Overall across all IDS depots, Germany's largest groupage cooperation was able to further improve the relevant quality factors. "Quality performance was consistent throughout 2022 and remained stable throughout, even in the spring business with high shipment volumes," says IDS Managing Director Michael Bargl. This was due in particular to daily adjustments to traffic management during high-volume periods, as well as the provision of and investment in vehicle capacity and more staff in the hall and in administration.
To determine the quality winner, IDS evaluates the service quality of its partner depots on an annual basis. This includes the fulfilment of delivery promises for incoming consignments, the completeness of scanning, the results of regular quality audits and the delivery quality of express consignments.
