
ID Logistics: very good start to the year with a 17.6% increase in sales in Q1 2024

ID Logistics (ISIN: FR0010929125, Mnemo: IDL), European market leader in contract logistics, today announced its revenues for the first quarter of 2024.

This good sales momentum was driven by the launch of major projects in several of our key countries, both in Europe and across the Atlantic. REVENUE GROWTH FOR 1ST QUARTER 2024: +17.6% (+12.4% ON A COMPARABLE BASIS)
ID Logistics recorded sales of € 736.3 million in the first quarter of 2024, an increase of 17.6%.
This good result includes the sales of Spedimex, a company acquired in Poland that has been consolidated since 1 June 2023. Adjusted for the effect of the change in the scope of consolidation and a generally favourable exchange rate effect during the quarter, like-for-like growth was +12.4% compared to Q1 2023.
Particularly noteworthy in the quarter were
- Sales stabilised in France (-0.5% of sales) after a year 2023 characterised by lower consumption;
- Quarterly sales growth in Europe (excluding France) of +14.3 % on a comparable basis;
- Very strong momentum in the United States with sales growth of 29.5 % on a like-for-like basis
- Like-for-like growth of +21.6% in Latin America and Asia.
ID Logistics launched seven new projects in the past quarter.
NEW CONCLUSIONS
ID Logistics also participated in a number of tenders in the first quarter of 2024. For example, the Group won or started the following new contracts:
- In France, ID Logistics will start operating an 86,000 m² site near Amiens for one of its main customers, a global e-commerce giant, before summer 2024.
- In Brazil, Wella Company, world leader in the beauty industry, has entrusted ID Logistics with the management of logistics activities at its new 12,000 m² national distribution centre in the south of the state of Minas Gerais.
- In the United States, ID Logistics is continuing its collaboration with one of the world's largest confectionery manufacturers by taking over the management of a 28,000 m² site south-west of Chicago.
