ID Logistics opens first location in the UK and now offers international customers full European coverage

International contract logistics provider ID Logistics announces the opening of its first UK location as part of the launch of logistics operations for a leading international fashion retailer. The new facility near Northampton is strategically located between Birmingham and London and is dedicated solely to returns management.

FIRST LOCATION IN THE UK FOR RETURNS MANAGEMENT

ID Logistics was selected by a global fashion group for its expertise in e-commerce and textiles to ensure smooth and efficient returns management to meet the customer's expectations in terms of service quality. The new contract expands the partnership that already exists in Poland through Spedimex, a Polish company recently acquired by the ID Logistics Group.

More than 300 people will be employed at the 18,000 m² site, which will start operations in June 2023. The activities there exclusively concern returns of internet and B2B orders, with speed of response playing a key role. The products, which are subject to fashion trends, are processed in a very short time so that they can be brought back onto the market quickly.

With the opening of a new subsidiary in the UK, the Group is taking a highly strategic approach. As one of the largest logistics markets in Europe, the country offers considerable growth potential.
