Heat pump manufacturer Waterkotte rents 17,600 m² in Bochum
JLL advises and brokers the lease on the former Opel site
BOCHUM, 18 April 2024 - Heat pump manufacturer Waterkotte is relocating its headquarters from Herne to neighbouring Bochum. The company is renting space on the former Opel site at Sophie-Opel-Straße 20. Waterkotte is moving into a total of 17,600 m², of which around 14,000 m² is production and hall space and 3,600 m² is office space.
The owner of the property with DGNB Gold Standard certification is the investment company Accolade, which specialises in commercial property letting and the revitalisation of industrial sites. JLL advised on the letting and brokered the deal.
