Frasers Property Industrial expands European portfolio with property acquisition in Alzenau

COLOGNE, 06 FEBRUARY 2023

Frasers Property Industrial, a project developer of industrial and commercial property, has acquired a commercial site of around 4.1 hectares in Alzenau in the district of Aschaffenburg to expand its strategic land bank in Europe. The development plan envisages the creation of three state-of-the-art industrial units totalling 21,400 m2.

The site is located in the Brentanostrasse industrial estate in the north-west of the small town in Lower Franconia, close to the Bavarian-Hessian border and the Frankfurt am Main metropolitan region. In this highly sought-after region with important infrastructural hubs and good public transport connections, just 50 kilometres east of Frankfurt Airport, there are only a few sites available for industrial use. The site is only 1.8 kilometres from the A45 motorway and 13 kilometres from the A3 motorway, so there are good transport connections in all directions in Germany, including to the relevant border regions.

Colliers International Deutschland GmbH was involved in the acquisition in an advisory capacity.

The current land acquisition expands Frasers Property Industrial's strategic land bank in Europe and Australia to over 2.4 million square metres. The Alzenau site represents a valuable addition to the portfolio in the Frankfurt region, with other Frasers Property Industrial properties located in Egelsbach, Hanau, Obertshausen and Dreieich.
