Fiege takes over fulfilment for Polspotten

With the Dutch furnishing brand Polspotten, the logistics service provider Fiege gains another customer in the growing furnishing and furniture segment. Fiege is accommodating the business in its multi-user centre in Westzaan, north of Amsterdam, where the contract logistics expert already operates for the Zuiver Group.

Westzaan/Greven, 30th March 2023 - Joint growth: Fiege will handle the logistics for the Dutch furniture brand Polspotten from July 2023. At its new multi-user centre in Westzaan, the Greven-based logistics service provider will handle incoming goods, warehousing and outgoing goods for the B2B and B2C company from Aalsmeer near Amsterdam. Polspotten was founded in 1986 and offers its customers an exclusive range of high-quality furnishing products - from home accessories and crockery to sofas, stools and tables. The removal of a total of around 5,000 pallets is already in full swing.

Victor van Nieuwenhuizen, CEO at Polspotten, who runs the company together with Juliette van der Eerden as CFO/COO, says: "Polspotten is growing fast. Polspotten occupies around 10,000 of the total 40,000 square metres of logistics space at the Fiege location in Westzaan, which is strategically located on the north bank of the Port of Amsterdam and only a few kilometres from Schiphol Airport.
