On our own behalf: Success story, Deutsche Lagerhaus, Log-it-Club

Christmas is fast approaching and the end of the year is fast approaching. Despite the final spurt, we still have plenty of new and positive news for you. Certainly, things are still very hectic in some companies before Christmas. Nevertheless, stay calm. We wish you a happy pre-Christmas period.  

New ways to new customers:

Freight forwarder Guckuk discovers lagerflaeche.de as an acquisition tool

Almost 67% of all haulage and transport companies rely on word-of-mouth advertising to acquire new customers. Guckuk, a haulage company based in Cologne, is a good example of the fact that there are simple and inexpensive alternatives. A success story.

New membership: Lagerflaeche.de is now a member of the Log-it Club

The LOG-IT Club is a registered association and is run by an honorary board.

The board is supported in its work by the office, which is the first point of contact for members and non-members alike. The third body of the organisation alongside the board and management is the Innovation Advisory Board, which is made up of personalities from politics, science and business.

Logvocatus GmbH, the operator of logistics internet platforms (including www.Lagerfläche.de and www.logjobs.de), has been a member of LogistikCluster NRW since the beginning of November 2009.

The LOG-IT Club e.V. has joined forces with the NRW Transport and Logistics Association to support the NRW Logistics Cluster. The project is funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy of the state of NRW and the EU. The NRW Logistics Cluster is part of the NRW cluster policy, which covers a total of 16 sectors under the umbrella brand Exzellenz.NRW

The aim of the activities is to bundle the forces in the logistics industry in NRW and to form an active logistics community in North Rhine-Westphalia. North Rhine-Westphalia is to be further developed into the No. 1 logistics location in Europe. To this end, a wide range of activities have already been implemented by the Logistics Cluster Management for a good two years. Active participation in the network is possible through membership of the LOG-IT Club e.V. Currently, a good 120 companies and institutions are already active members and the growth of the cluster is extremely dynamic. You can find out more about LogistikCluster NRW, North Rhine-Westphalia as a logistics centre and its members at www.logistik.nrw.de .

Logvocatus GmbH will support LogistikCluster NRW in areas such as the already established industry groups "Personal-Logistik.NRW" and "Immobilien-Flächen-Logistik.NRW" and will be actively involved in activities in these areas. The next event in these areas, which is also open to non-members, will be the industry forum "Immobilien-Flächen-Logistik.NRW" in Herne in February 2010.
