LAGERflaeche.de: Portal now also available in English

The contract logistics and property portal www.lagerflaeche.de has also been offering an English language version since January 2012. The portal of Düsseldorf-based Logvocatus Gesellschaft für eCommerce und Logistik mbH is thus the first German portal specialising in logistics properties and services to also address international customers with an English-language version.

The internet portal www.lagerflaeche.de recorded a strong overall increase in search queries in 2011. Freight forwarders, logistics service providers, industrial companies and property agents are increasingly using this service in the context of tenders, production or warehouse expansions. The number of visitors in 2011 was 1,000 trade visitors per day, while the number of page impressions rose to a total of 1.5 million for the whole of 2011. LOGworld is already expecting over 2.5 million page impressions for 2012.

The offer on www.lagerflaeche.de thus takes account of the increasing demand from other European and overseas countries. Marc Possekel, Managing Director of Logvocatus, has been observing this development for some time now: "In 2011, we had more than 4,500 visitors from abroad on www.lagerflaeche.de. Three quarters of these came from countries in the European Union, while a quarter of the visitors found their way to us from the BRIC countries of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. The English language version makes it even easier for these users to recognise and evaluate our customers' offerings on this platform." International visitors to the portal are primarily interested in suitable logistics locations, warehouse properties and suitable contract logistics partners for handling warehouse and value-added services.

For the portal's customers who are looking to market a location or property or offer their services with the help of www.lagerflaeche.de, the increasing internationalisation of the online offering means a significantly greater reach and therefore higher chances of successful brokerage.
