Editorial Magazine LAGERflaeche 02/2015
Dear readers
after our very successful joint stand at LogiMAT in Stuttgart in February, the next trade fair is just around the corner. From 5 - 8 May 2015, transport logistic will take place in Munich. LAGERflaeche.de will once again be represented here with a 210 square metre joint stand. You will find a brief overview of the co-exhibitors on the left-hand side. You will find the joint stand in Hall B5, Stand 115/214.
Our co-operation partner LogCoop GmbH, a service company for medium-sized companies in the transport and logistics sector, will also be represented at the trade fair, right next to us (Hall B5, Stand 111/210). Here, 12 members of LogCoop will be exhibiting on a further 75 square metres (see page 23 for a list of co-exhibitors).
We are particularly looking forward to the stand party on 7 May 2015 from 5 pm. Here we will be offering live music by the Munich AllSTars.
We will also be happy to send you a free ticket for your visit to the trade fair.
In this issue of LAGERflaeche magazine, you will find reports from various areas of contract logistics, logistics real estate and intralogistics.
If you are currently looking for an optimal warehouse location, the article on page 4 will help you, showing you how to find a suitable location with the help of IT-supported planning and optimisation methods.
Starting on page 6, you will find an interview with Mr Dirk Becker, who explains the advantages of professional voice-assisted working in industry and logistics.
Our co-exhibitor CINRAM GmbH shows you what it means to be a full-service logistics provider in the article starting on page 8.
You can read the trend report on the state of the art and new and further developments in the field of order picking technology from page 10 onwards.
On page 19 you will find a project report on savings through LED lighting by co-exhibitor TRILUX Vertrieb GmbH. How high-performance scanners optimise the sorting of goods in the mail order business can be found on page 21.
I look forward to seeing you in Munich,
Yours, Marc Poßekel
