Nagel-Group takes over comprehensive logistics services for Eggers & Franke

Hamburg / Bremen, 15.05.2025. Nagel-Group has gained a major new customer in the Eggers & Franke Group, one of Germany's leading distributors of premium spirits, wines and sparkling wines. In future, the cooperation will include complete logistics support - from storage and transportation to individual value-added services.

Nagel-Group took over all warehousing activities for Eggers & Franke at the beginning of the year, integrating a total of around 45,000 pallet spaces at the Hammersbach logistics site. The next milestone will follow on May 1, 2025: the takeover of the entire transport business by Nagel-Group.

“With Nagel-Group, we have chosen a strategic partner who understands our high quality standards and supports our growth with intelligent logistics solutions,” says Norman Brüggemann, General Manager Operations at the Eggers & Franke Group. “The centralization of our activities in Hammersbach offers us optimal conditions to make our processes more efficient, scalable and customer-oriented.”

The focus of the new partnership is on the comprehensive optimization of B2C processes, both through greater automation with the help of robotics and through consistent process streamlining. In addition, all processes will be migrated to CAL-Suite, Nagel-Group's specially developed software ecosystem.

“The collaboration with Eggers & Franke marks an important strategic step for us,” emphasizes Carsten Taucke, CEO of Nagel-Group. “We not only offer a high-performance infrastructure, but also highly specialized value-added services, from vintage control and quality assurance to repackaging in fine jewelry boxes. Our aim is to turn logistics into a growth driver for our customers.”

With this cooperation, Nagel-Group will take on complete logistics responsibility for Eggers & Franke in future. This also includes the intelligent consolidation of e-commerce orders, allowing shipments to be bundled and delivered more sustainably. Another key component is co-packing at the Hammersbach site: in future, this will not only be used for packing and repacking, but also for consolidation before the goods are dispatched to end customers - an ideal prerequisite for the sophisticated distribution of high-quality luxury foods.
