Die Richtlinie enthält folgende Aspekte:<br> <br> - Änderung von Leistungskennwerten<br> - Anpassung auf geänderten Einsatzzweck<br> - Sicherung der Betriebsbereitschaft<br> - Erhöhung der Sicherheit.<br> <br> Insbesondere wird das Augenmerk auf die ineinander verzahnten technischen und rechtlichen Zusammenhänge gerichtet. Bei flüchtiger Vorplanung von Änderungen können schnell zusätzliche kostenträchtige Aufwendungen übersehen werden, die für den regelkonformen Betrieb erforderlich sind.<br> <br> Im Abschnitt „Prüfung und Abnahme bei wesentlichen Änderungen bzw. wesentlichen Veränderungen" wird die Problematik von Änderungen unter Berücksichtigung des europäischen und nationalen Rechts erläutert Die Vorgehensweise bei der Bewertung vorhandener Krane und Kranbahnen, die auf der Basis älterer Normen konzipiert wurde, wird ebenfalls vorgeschlagen. Die Richtlinie VDI 4449 wurde erarbeitet, da die Häufigkeit der Änderung von Krananlagen in den letzten Jahren stark an Bedeutung zugenommen hat. <br> <br> Herausgeber der Richtlinie VDI 4449 „Leitfaden zur Änderung von Krananlagen" ist die VDI-Gesellschaft Fördertechnik Materialfluss Logistik (VDI-FML). Die Richtlinie ist ab April 2009 in deutsch/englischer Fassung beim Beuth Verlag in Berlin (Telefon +49 (0) 30 26 01-22 60) zu einem Preis von 63,30 € erhältlich. Sie ersetzt den Entwurf vom August 2007.
